Income and Eligibility Requirements
Here In California our rules about income are a little different than that of some of the other states.
California Has expanded eligibility requirements for Medicaid or Medi-Cal here in California. This means that an individual making up to 138% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL) may qualify for coverage through Medi-Cal.
Individuals and Families making more than 138% of the FPL but less than 400% of the FPL will qualify for some sort of help paying for their Insurance.
